---- — CLINTON — Dr. Richard Betts is excited to be asked back to the Clinton Public Library where he will be presenting a program titled “Acupuncture, the Ancient Art of Eastern Healing.”

Betts is an expert in Oriental Medicine, which encompasses understanding the body’s important requirements for both electrical magnetic energy as well as nutrition. This presentation will give the attendee a better understanding of what electrical magnetic energy is and the importance of energetic balance.

The presentation will focus on acupuncture and how this art form has been helping individuals heal for thousands of years. If you have never experienced acupuncture, Betts will be giving all attendees an opportunity to experience Stress Relief Acupuncture. He will be using points that will increase the body’s ability to relax.

“Our world is filled with so much stress. Acupuncture can reduce or remove stress and give a feeling of well being in a short period of time. I will be giving Stress Relief Acupuncture to those attendees who are interested in experiencing how Acupuncture can create a feeling of calm within their body,” Betts explained.

The presentation will be June 12 at 6 p.m. at the Clinton Public Library. Attendees will gain an understanding of how to take control of their body’s healing capabilities. The Stress Relief Acupuncture is free. Any further questions about the presentation should be directed to the Clinton Public Library or Betts’ office at (563) 689-4560.
