CLINTON — American business moves by truck, and the demand for reliable drivers is always high.
A truck driving course is now offered at Clinton Community College with a new class starting Monday, Sept. 8, at the CCC Technology Center, 1951 Manufacturing Drive, Clinton.
This 10-week program prepares students to take the Commercial Driver’s License exam, a necessity for all commercial drivers in the United States. Get started with three weeks of classroom instruction before moving on to seven weeks behind the wheel, both city and highway driving, as you prepare for your new career as a truck driver.
Program costs are : Classroom and driving instruction, $1,312.80; truck driving fee, $1,700; books, $69.20; and Department of Transportation physical and DOT Drug Test, $150.
Class size is limited.
