Foundation seeks new exec. director

---- — MAQUOKETA — The Community Foundation of Jackson County is now looking for a new executive director.

Angie Petit recently resigned her post as executive director to join Boyd Gaming in Dubuque as an account executive. She spent six years with the foundation.

The Community Foundation of Jackson County affiliated with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque in late 2012. The Jackson County group focuses on understanding the needs of the community and supports those needs through community leadership, grantmaking and growing endowments.

“We wish Angie the best in her new career and are grateful for the energy and expertise she brought to our foundation for the past six years,” Lenke Carson, board chairman, said.
