Summer lunch menus (July 14 to July 18)

CLINTON — Summer lunch program at Bluff and Jefferson Elementary Schools

Monday

Chicken nuggets, broccoli and cheese sauce, whipped potatoes and orange wedges.

Tuesday

Submarine sandwich, peas, corn cobette and fruit cocktail.

Wednesday

Taco, refried beans, carrot and celery sticks and banana.

Thursday

Hamburger on bun, sweet potato fries, mixed vegetables and sliced pears.

Friday    

Corn dog, cauliflower, seasoned loops and melon chunks.

Federal funds allow CCSD to provide these lunches at qualifying locations for children ages two through 18 at no charge, Monday through Friday. Adults may accompany, but meals are for children only. Children from any area may participate in this program. Lunch will be served June 9 – July 25, 2014 from 11:30 to 12:30 only, no earlier or later.

Generations Area Agency on Aging

Monday

Ham, sweet potato casserole, green beans and pudding parfait.

Tuesday

Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli bacon salad, pears and chocolate cream pie.

Wednesday

Chili, Tuscan greens, crackers, Hawaiian salad and watermelon.

Thursday

Taco bake, brown rice, refried beans, tomato lettuce mix, tortilla and snickerdoodle cookie.

Friday

Tuna noodle casserole, spinach salad, fruit cocktail, fig newtons and cranberry juice.

Saturday and Sunday

Closed.

Locations include Park Towers, 329 Sixth Ave. South, Clinton; Prairie Village, 1141 13th Ave. North, Clinton; Garner Hall, 311 Ninth Ave., Camanche; and DeWitt United Methodist Church, 222 12th St., DeWitt.
