CCC graduation is May 13

CLINTON — Clinton Community College will host the 65th commencement ceremony Monday, May 13, at W. J. Yourd Gymnasium beginning at 6 p.m.

A reception will follow at Clinton Community College, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton until 8:15 p.m. The public is invited to attend graduation and reception.

CCC has 200 potential graduates in 2013, with 92 attending the ceremony. Three students have earned Highest Honors with a 4.0 GPA. High Honors are awarded to 34 students who have earned a 3.5 – 3.9 GPA.

Faculty marshals will be CCC instructors Molly Brown and Shawn Hamerlinck. Student marshals are Jarica Whitney and Jeffrey Jordan. Commencement speakers include graduates Amanda Comstock, Crystle Liebhart, and Cory Reuter. Student ushers are Traci Corwin, Emily Legel, Pete Andresen and Russell Kuberski.

Taylor Wiebers will serve as vocalist with Deborah Richter as her accompianist. Sheryl Gray will sign for those with hearing needs.

A nursing pinning ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. May 13 in the CCC Auditorium for the 26 students completing the nursing program. The students will be recognized for their achievements and will be pinned by a family member or friend who showed support during the years in the program.
