CCC lists 2008 graduation schedule

CLINTON — Clinton Community College will be celebrating their 60th commencement ceremony on May 13 at 6 p.m.
The ceremony will be held at Clinton High School in Yourd Gymnasium. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception will be held at Clinton Community College, 1000 Lincoln Blvd., Clinton.
Student marshals will be Holly Ricca and Doug Housenga. Faculty marshals will be Lanell Mogab and Chris Eichmeier. Student speakers for this year’s Commencement will be Julie Connell, Susan Donahue and Jesse Fullan. Kelsi Huber will be providing the music, and a musical selection will be presented by Lacy Putman.
There will be a variety of related activities going on at the campus prior to the commencement ceremony, including:
• The Clinton Community College Alumni Association Outstanding Awards Reception is May 12 at 4 p.m. in the CCC Auditorium.
• The Honor Cording Ceremony is May 13 at noon, to celebrate those graduating with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or greater. There will be a short program with refreshments following, provided by the student senate.
• The Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be May 13 at 2 p.m. Nursing graduates will be pinned by a significant person in their lives. Former Clinton mayor and nurse, LaMetta Wynn, will be the guest speaker for this event.
