ROCKFORD, Ill. — Two Fulton, Ill., residents have been charged with murder.
According to a press release from the Rockford Police Department issued recently, Larry D. Wright, 35, was found shot to death while sitting in a vehicle at Parmele Street and 20th Avenue in Rockford at 1:28 p.m. May 27.
Rockford Police Department detectives conducted a homicide investigation and developed information in conjunction with the Illinois State Police Blackhawk Area Task Force.
On Thursday, Rockford police detectives and members of the BATF arrested Adam D. Meyer, 22, of Fulton. He is being held on $1.5 million bond. Also arrested was Elizabeth S. Lawyer, 26, of Fulton. She is being held on $1 million.
No further details of the case were released as of press time.
