CLINTON —Ten contractors and businesses reported a burglary Wednesday at the Price of Peace job site, 1105 Mill Creek Parkway.
Clinton Police Capt. Randy Meier said it appears that somebody got in the site and took some of the contractors’ tools. He stated that the burglary most likely occurred Tuesday night.
Davenport-based contractors Christopher J. Rymars, Ray Glazek, Lance M. Horlas and John W. Rymars reported missing items as did Prime Construction and Estes Construction.
Moline, Ill., contractor Michael K. Johnson, Moehr Painting of Goose Lake, and Leslie Electric of Clinton also have tools missing.
Based on lists from police reports, almost $10,000 in tools have been reported missing following the burglary. The incident is still under investigation, Meier said.
