FULTON, Ill. — A crash involving two semi tractor-trailers in Fulton has left one man injured.
According to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 7:30 p.m. Friday, a semi driven by Terry H. Dinges, 54, of Erie, Ill., was traveling east on Illinois 136, when Dinges stopped at the intersection with U.S. 30 and pulled out in front of a semi driven by Raymond M. Daily, 59, of Little York, Ill.
Daily was eastbound on U.S. 30 at the time of the crash.
Dinges was injured and transported to Mercy Medical Center in Clinton, where his condition report was unavailable today.
Fulton Police, Fulton Fire, Fulton EMS, Medic Ambulance, Illinois State Police, Hunter’s Towing of Morrison, Ill., and Roger’s Towing of Clinton all assisted on the scene.
Dinges was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
