Old Mill hosts open house this weekend

— MAQUOKETA — Costello’s Old Mill invites everyone to their Ole Fashion Christmas open house to be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. As a token of appreciation the mill’s art gallery, which will feature Patrick J. Costello, will give away a free signed and numbered limited edition print. You can view the historical 1867 stone mill, now eastern Iowa’s newest wedding site and reception hall. There will be Christmas decorations and patrons can preview Costello’s new Iowa landscape originals for a three-day art show. Also for sale will be Costello’s artwork, antiques, jewelry and gift items.
The event will feature 50 percent off selected prints, hot apple cider, cookies and door prizes.
