CHARLOTTE — The “Best Little Christmas Show in Town” will look to benefit Toys for Tots at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Charlotte Area Activity Center (the old school). The event will also raise money for the newsletter, the Charlotte Web.
This Christmas concert will showcase the voices of Travis Hosette, Leo Marlowe, Abby Tarr and Cameron Costello. All four singers are originally from Charlotte and will join together to help benefit those in need this Christmas.
The show will feature traditional Christmas musical favorites and is for all ages. Admission to the show will be $3 with a new unwrapped toy to be donated to Toys for Tots, or $5 without a toy. Half of the cash proceeds will go to Toys for Tots as well. The other half will go to help the Charlotte Web.
Citizens First Bank offers tree drive assistance
CLINTON — Citizens First Bank, 403 S. Washington Blvd., is helping with the Camanche Sharing Tree Drive. This bank location will have bear tags on site with each bear representing a boy or girl who will receive a donation for Christmas. Each tag contains a wish list for that child. For each child, the giver will purchase, wrap and return a gift off the child’s wish list to the location by Friday.
Citizens First Bank is an official drop-off site for the Toys for Tots drive at their 1442 Lincoln Way and 1329 N. Second St. locations. Boxes are on site at each location lobby ready to accept new and unwrapped toys through Dec. 13 in an effort to help needy children in the community.
