CLINTON -- It may be a snowy winter wonderland at the moment, but by this time tomorrow, temperatures in the Gateway are expected to drop as low as 20 degrees below zero (Farenheit). That slide is expected to continue into Monday with the local forecast projected between 10- and 20-degrees below.
Accompanying this drop is the usual nasty elements for an Iowa blizzard: snow showers, high winds, frigid wind chill.
The American Red Cross -- Clinton's local chapter on 13th Avenue and nationwide -- offers people tips for safety on its website. Visit http://www.redcross.org/news/article/Stay-Safe-as-Winter-Blasts-Much-of-US-with-Snow-and-Cold for advice on how to stay warm and safe during the upcoming storm.
