Officials investigating 3 burglaries

MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Carroll County CrimeStoppers is requesting the public’s help in solving three break-ins.

The Milledgeville Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred between 5 p.m. Dec. 13 and 9 a.m. Dec. 14. Unknown subjects forced entry into Satin “N Lace on Main Avenue and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency was taken.

The Lanark Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred sometime during the overnight hours of Dec 14. Unknown subjects forced their way into Lanark City Hall and currency was taken. Sometime during the same evening, subjects forced entry into the Lanark Ag Center on North Boyd Street and currency was taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (815) 244-7867. Information leading to an arrest could earn the caller a reward of up to $1,000. The identity of the caller will be kept confidential.
