Three face crack conspiracy charges

CLINTON — Three people are facing charges connected to a crack cocaine conspiracy.

According to court records, Reginald D. George, 28, John A. Jetter, 65, and Briana C. Moore, 25, are charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics.

According to court records, charges were filed against the three on Wednesday in Scott County court.

George, a former minor league basketball player, was arrested on Nov. 13 in Clinton for possession with intent to deliver more than 10 but less than 50 grams of cocaine base, a class B felony, as well as violation of Iowa drug tax stamp and possession of marijuana. His vehicle was stopped at 7 p.m. near Culvers. At that time, there was a Scott County warrant out for his arrest. At the time, officers found additional quantities of crack cocaine in three separate packages, a small amount of marijuana, two digital scales and two boxes of plastic baggies in his apartment at 626 12th Ave. South.

According to court records, Jetter has previous drug convictions. Arraignments are set at 9 a.m. on Jan. 28
