CLINTON — Rotti Motors general manager Jack Irvine swears the Clinton car business is done moving. Not because he’s tired, but because the business now has a prime location along Clinton’s busiest road.
Rotti Motors moved from its former location on South 19th Street to Clinton Auto Group’s former home at the corner of South 19th Street and U.S. 30.
“We love it. We love the showroom; the offices. We just absolutely love it,” Jack said. “We are definitely glad we moved.”
Jack and his brother and owner of Rotti Motors, Jerry, have operated the business in Clinton for more than a decade. The latest marks their fifth move in Clinton.
“Every time we move it keeps getting better. We’re done moving now. This is our home for a long time to come,” Jack said.
Even though the car business doesn’t have a sign up yet, they’ve already noticed an increase in customers since their move less than two weeks ago.
They will continue auto sales, mechanical services, towing, custom wheels, auto repair and restoration as well as other services that, according to Jack, makes them a “one-stop shop.”
The new location allows them to sell more cars and also will mean expanding their mechanical staff in the future. The last Rotti Motoros location, all the the operations were under one roof.
Now, sales is located in a separate building, meaning they will need more staff to handle the disconnected operations.
