---- — CLINTON — The YWCA and community members will take walk around the block Thursday at the YWCA to honor local victims of domestic violence.

The event will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, with a program to follow at the YWCA.

That event coincides with the YWCA’s Week Without Violence next week. Other events include a film screening event of “Miss Representation,” from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Clinton Community College auditorium.

A human trafficking seminar will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at CCC. Brittany will share her story of being a human-trafficking survivor from Iowa.

Then on Saturday, Oct. 19, the annual Halloween House of Wonders will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eagle Point Lodge. Children are invited to dress in costume and trick-or-treat in activity-themed rooms decorated by area businesses.

The event is for children younger than the age of 10 and costs $2 per person.
