Dana Evers also will appear on the ballot. Evers worked as school psychologist for the AEA for 30 years. When her husband died she took over his business Riverside Custom Woodworking.
Evers, 55, has lived in Clinton for 32 years and both her sons went through the Clinton school system.
Being a Clinton School Board member has always intrigued her.
"I feel like I finally have the time to commit to it. I feel very strongly about education both in general and in clinton. I don't have an axe to grind or an agenda, my goal is to provide the best education for our students," she said.
