Business owners have welcomed her exhibit with open arms.
“It’s a way we support downtown and the community,” said Tim Clark, owner of Zirckelbach Home Appliances on Fifth Avenue South. “People have been visiting and walking around downtown and the feedback has been very positive.”
The benefit for Black is simply art for the sake of it.
“I call this temporary art, and I like the idea of temporary art because why get tired of stuff?” she said.
“Hats off to the Future” can be seen on Main Avenue, portions of north and south Second Street, three blocks on Fifth Avenue South, Sixth Avenue South and Seventh Avenue South.
Black said she is awaiting another inspiration to tackle similar projects in the future.
