Hospitalists are topic of discussion

Hospitalists topic of talk

CLINTON — “What Are Hospitalists?” is the topic for Mercy Advantage Supper Club on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 4:30 p.m. at Mercy’s North Campus, Conference Room A, located at 1410 N. Fourth St. in Clinton.

Steven Baldwin, MD, Hospitalist Medical Director, is the guest speaker. Hospitalists, are at the hospital 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and work with a patient’s physician to assist in managing a patient’s inpatient stay while at Mercy.

Mercy Advantage is a service of Mercy Medical Center and is free and open to members of all ages. Mercy Advantage strives to provide members the latest in health information, social opportunities, discounts, and fun, educational programs to keep members healthy and well. The Supper Club will begin at 4:30 p.m. when members will visit the Mercy Cafeteria for a dinner of their choice with the presentation to begin at 5 p.m. The cost of the meal is based on their selection. Call Mary Kaup at the Mercy Advantage office at 244-3539 to make a reservation.
