For snow emergencies — weather with 4 inches or more accumulated — staff proposed adding five new streets to the list. Kinser presented the council with a map detailing the new routes.
“You get too many more and the whole city will be a priority,” Councilwoman Julie Allesee joked.
While Clinton endures the spring, summer and fall months, Council members said they plan to continue looking at the policies for tweaks. The snow route additions have been forwarded to the next council meeting agenda, and plans for the council to speak with Public Works Director Tom Krogman are in the works.
