Man arrested after firing gun in home; no one shot

CLINTON — No one was shot when a Clinton man fired multiple shots inside a Clinton residence Sunday night.

At 7:42 p.m. Sunday, the Clinton Police Department and the Clinton Fire Department responded to a report of shots fired and two people being shot at 2423 N. Second St.

Gerald Wayne Ledford, 55, 2423 N. Second St., was arrested for intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class "C" felony, after discharging a handgun more than once inside the residence. Occupants in the residence struggled with Gerald and were able to disarm him, according to a release from Clinton Police Capt. Tom Bohle.

No one was shot in the incident, police said, but Victoria Lewandowski, 42, of Clinton, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center North where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Luann Ledford, 42, 2423 N. Second St., refused medical attention.
