Police search for suspect in bank robbery

CLINTON — The Clinton Police Department is searching for a male in connection with an alleged bank robbery at Clinton National Bank’s Lyons branch.

Law enforcement officials responded to a bank robbery call at Clinton National Bank, 1912 N. Second St., at 11:50 a.m. today. Police are describing the suspect as a white male, thin, wearing a dark multi-colored stocking cap, dark-colored hooded coat and blue jeans.

The suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
