Baseball roundup: Sabers sweep Williamsburg

DEWITT — Central DeWitt scored three times in the fourth inning to break open a tie game and beat Williamsburg 7-6 in the second game of a doubleheader Thursday to complete a sweep in WaMaC Conference baseball.
The Sabers (23-8, 12-7 conference) won the opener 16-1 in a game shortened to four innings by the 15-run rule.
Ryan Cady pitched a four-hitter in the first game and also had three hits and drove in four runs for the Sabers. Brandon Jasper had a big night in each game, getting two hits in each, driving in three runs in Game 2 and two in Game 1.

Camanche wins back-to-back games
The Camanche baseball team won a pair of road games Tuesday and Wednesday to raise its record to 9-14 and finished the Big East Conference baseball season with a 5-6 record.
The Indians defeated East Central 7-3 on Tuesday in Miles, getting four hits and three RBIs from Austin Stahl.
Camanche then defeated Andrew 8-7 on the road Wednesday.
Jalan Bertrand and TJ Runge drove in two runs each for Camanche.

Preston tops East Central
