OLIN — Luella I. Jensen, 75, of Olin, died Saturday at the Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville.

Burial will be in the Stanwood Cemetery, Stanwood.

She was born on July 11, 1931 in Cedar County to parents William G. and Daisy Niles Laing. She married Keith Fuhrmeister of Iowa City on July 3, 1948. She later married Fred Jensen on September 1, 1972 in Olin. He died in August, 1993.

She worked at the University of Iowa, HACAP of Jones Co., Sheller Globe of Iowa City and later became a farmer’s wife.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Olin.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy (Benny) Semler, of Iowa City; five sons, David (Nikki) Fuhrmeister of Terra Haute, Ind., Cliff (Rheda) Fuhrmeister, of Olin, Phillip (Gay) Fuhrmeister, of Center Junction, Keith "Doug" (Anita) Fuhrmeister, of Olin, and Tom (Kathy) Fuhrmeister, of Marion; four step-children, Judy (Al) Jacobson, of North Liberty, William "Bill" (Sharon) Jensen, of Mechanicsville, Patsy (Mike) Francois, of Masonville and Paul Jensen, of Hale; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one daughter, one sister, one brother, two half-brothers and one half-sister.
