Excellence award

Staff of the Greater Iowa Chapter Alzheimer’s Association receives the 2009 Iowa Non-Profit Excellence award.

CLINTON — The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Iowa Chapter has received the 2009 Iowa Non-Profit Excellence Award. This award recognizes excellence in governance, finance, human resources, programs and services, use of volunteers and overall impact and results. The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Iowa Chapter, was selected winner of the large organization category. This first-time award is sponsored by the Iowa Not for Profit Alliance and Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. The chapter received a cash prize of $12,000 from the Vilsack Foundation for this award.
