CLINTON — A Fulton, Illinois, man is charged with multiple felonies.
Tristan O. Blakely, 22, is charged with residential burglary, a Class 1 felony; possession of methamphetamine, less than five grams, a Class 3 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
A Class 1 felony is punishable by imprisonment of not less than four years and not more than 15 years. A Class 3 felony carries a sentence of not less than two years and not more than five years. A Class A misdemeanor carries a sentence of less than one year.
A preliminary hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 7.
A press release from Fulton Police Lt. Donnie Pridemore states Blakely also is a suspect in several burglary-to-motor-vehicle cases, with additional charges pending. Blakely is being held at the Whiteside County Jail.
