CLINTON — A woman charged with four counts of sexual abuse has been granted pretrial release.
District Court Judge Mark Lawson on Friday ordered Mikaela M. Busch, 31, of Cedar Rapids, be released to the Seventh Judicial District Department of Corrections after a bond review hearing. Lawson ordered Busch to report immediately to the Department of Correctional Services at 121 Sixth Ave. South.
A specific condition of release is that Busch will reside with Michael Jones and Laura Jones in Des Moines. Busch was ordered to continue her mental health treatment and obtain a substance abuse evaluation and follow through with any recommended treatment.
Busch is charged with four counts of third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony. Arraignment is set for 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
