CLINTON — Ashford University will host its spring commencement activities next month.
The Ashford campus celebration will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 2 at the main Ashford campus. The day will include activities, including campus tours, honor society and military appreciation events, and an Ashford history presentation.
Students can have their photo taken with Ashford President Richard Pattenaude and Champ, the university’s St. Bernard mascot. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the deans, executive deans, and select faculty members from each of the university’s four colleges.
Activities for children, including a bounce house, games, and craft projects, also are planned.
A commencement ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. May 3 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois. Check-in for graduates begins at 7 a.m. with line-up set for 9 a.m. The ceremony is open to the public.
More than 7,500 students are scheduled to complete their Ashford degrees, and 1,100 of them, along with friends and families, are planning to participate in the commencement celebration.
