ORANGE CITY — A Clinton resident recently earned academic accolades at Northwestern College in Orange City.

Carolyn Hopkins, a student at Northwestern College, has earned a spot on the academic Dean’s list for the spring semester. She maintained a 4.0 during the semester.

The Dean’s list is comprised of students who have achieved a semester grade point average of 3.50 or above while carrying a minimum of 12 graded hours. This semester, 375 students qualified for the Dean’s List. Students who earned a GPA of 3.75 or higher are considered Collegiate Scholars. Of the 214 Collegiate Scholars, 59 of them maintained a 4.0 average.

Hopkins is a senior and theatre major at Northwestern College. She is the daughter of Paul and Elizabeth Hopkins.
