CLINTON – Clinton police early this morning responded to a call of gun shots fired in the 100 block of North Fifth Street, according to a press release issued this afternoon.

At 2:50 a.m. officers responded to the call. James Overton, 108 N. Fifth St., reported damage to his residence from the shots. No injuries were reported.

Police also are investigating a report of shots fired early Monday morning in the 400 block alley of 10th and 11th avenues south. The incident was reported to have occurred between 12:36 and 12:41 a.m.
