CLINTON — Kathy Klahn, senior vice president and real estate manager at Clinton National Bank, was recently named to the executive board of the Iowa Mortgage Association for 2007-2008.

Klahn will serve as the vice president of this organization in the new year.

Iowa Mortgage Associa-tion is committed to promoting the highest degree of professionalism for its members by providing ethical and professional standards against which mortgage professionals can be measured. In order to achieve this, IMA has developed this designation to recognize mortgage professionals who have attained the highest levels of industry expertise.

In order to qualify for this distinction, candidates must meet the following requirements: be a member of the Iowa Mortgage Association, have a minimum of two years experience in mortgage lending, and meet stringent standards and testing required by the association.
