The week of Jan. 28 through Feb. 3 is Catholic Schools Week, the annual celebration of Catholic education throughout our country.

Catholic Education at Prince of Peace Catholic School
n Prince of Peace Parish school is in the Davenport Diocese, serving Clinton and surrounding communities in Iowa and Illinois.
n Current enrollment is 205 students (K-12).
n Graduation rate is 100 percent.
Join us as we celebrate our accomplishments, faith, and community. Here are some of the activities for the week:
Today: Celebrating Our Community
Sock Hop — students will gather socks for the homeless and chemotherapy patients.
Students will write letters, color pictures, and assemble care packages for cancer patients at Medical Associates and The Children’s Hospital in Iowa City.
Tuesday: Celebrating Our Faculty & Staff
Lunch is provided for teachers and staff.
Teachers swap classes for one class period.
Students will write thank you notes to teachers and design a gratitude tree.
Wednesday: Celebrating Our Nation
Students will write letters to recent alumni who are serving our country.
Thursday: Celebrating Vocations
Lunch is provided for our parish priests and the Sisters of St. Francis pen pals.
Our priests will have dessert with our high school students.
Grades 5-8 will make crosses with the Sisters from the Canticle.
Friday: Celebrating Our Students
All-school Mass at Prince of Peace Church at 8 a.m.
