Clinton’s own Eric “Little Lee” Wisely is ready to make his UFC debut. Wisely will take on fellow newcomer Charles Oliveira in a preliminary match-up Saturday in Chicago.

The eight prelim matches will begin at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fuel TV. The prelim matches serve as a warm-up to the main card fight, which will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on Fox.

Wisely brings a 19-6 MMA record into Saturday’s fight. His Brazilian opponent, Oliveira, has a 14-2 MMA record and is 2-2 in UFC fights.

UFC, or Ultimate Fighting Championship, is the largest Mixed Martial Arts league in the world. Competitors fight in an octagonal ring, using a variety of martial arts techniques and hand to hand combat. Much like boxing, fights are won through scoring points, forcing an opponent to submit, or knocking an opponent unconscious.
