CLINTON — The Clinton County Republican Women met Feb. 27 at Republican Headquarters, Clinton.

The meeting was called to order by President Sue Dikeman followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and invocation. A soup and sandwich luncheon was served.

Guest speaker was Chris Cournoyer, who is running for the State Senate seat against Rita Hart. Dan Smicker, chairman of the Republican Central Committee, gave a report on the county and state caucuses.

The next meeting will be a “build your own taco salad” luncheon at 11:30 a.m. March 27 at Republican Headquarters. New members are welcome. The group meets at 513 S. Third St., Clinton.
