CLINTON — The public is invited to attend a Victorian tea from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the George Curtis Mansion, 420 Fifth Ave. South. The first 50 reservations will receive a favor, a teapot key ring with a tape measurer. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Clinton Women’s Club, at Clinton Printing or at the door.

Attendees will be served hot or iced tea, open-face sandwiches, cookies and lemon bars. Florence Dingmon and Lydia Halbach are co-chairwomen. Among the members of the Clinton Women’s Club who will be making the refreshments include Jan Spooner, Liz Clements, Marilyn Clausen, Lucy Melvin, Norma Hammer, Wilma Clark, Jeanette Petersen, Dolores Wolf, Lanie Lass, Pat Outzen and Joyce Sporman.

Members who will be assisting in serving include Barb Green, Nan Bovis and Jeanne Herrity with Marilyn Schmidt at door sales.

A large display of teapots from Joanne Rogis collection will be on display.
