SAVANNA, Ill. — The West Carroll High School Music and Drama Departments will be presenting L. Frank Baum’s “The Wizard of Oz” during the weekend of March 20 to 22.

The drama and music departments will tell the classic tale of Dorothy Gale of Kansas and her trip over the rainbow into the land of Oz. People are invited to join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto too, as they travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination. The March 20 and March 21 performances will be at 7:30 p.m. and the March 22 performance will be at 2 p.m. at the West Carroll High School, 500 Cragmoor Ave., Savanna.

Admission will be $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Preschool age children will be admitted for free. Tickets will be available at the door.
