CLINTON — The Alliant Energy Foundation announced Thursday multiple grant awards coming to Clinton County groups through the Hometown Safety program.
Alliant distributed more than $27,000 to 29 communities through the program.
Clinton County organizations receiving money included: Clinton Fire Department, $1,000, for the smoke detector project; Camanche Police Department, $1,000, for the defibrillator project; and the Prince of Peace School Foundation, $1,000, for the Save a Life program.
