CLINTON — A Clinton man is being held in the Clinton County Jail on first-degree murder charges.

Steve Armsted, 48, of Clinton, is being held in the Clinton County Jail. According to jail records, he was charged Thursday by the Clinton County Sheriff's office. No information was available on the arrest by the time the Clinton County Courthouse closed Thursday afternoon.
