CLINTON — Clinton Councilmen Tom Determann and John Rowland will hold a community forum on Saturday, April 25, at Christ Episcopal Church, 2100 N. Second St.

Rowland and Determann will be available to discuss the recently enacted Iowa Gas Tax increase and how the city of Clinton should spend the estimated $470,000 of newly acquired Road Use Tax revenue the city will receive.

Residents will also be asked to fill out a brief survey stating how they would like to see $470,000 of the new Road Use Tax dollars spent.

Rowland and Determann will also share information on the recently obtained police staffing study from Etico Solution and answer questions.

The public is invited to have coffee and conversation with Rowland and Determann on these important community topics. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m. Please use the church parking lot and rear entrance on Pershing Boulevard to access the meeting room.
