CLINTON — The Clinton County Fair began Wednesday and will run through Sunday, with several events upcoming for today through the final day.

Admission is $5 if arriving between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. After 3 p.m., the price increases to $10. Season passes are $20 apiece. Participants in 4-H and FFA can get in free with a wristband. Children ages 9 and younger also will be admitted free of charge.

The carnival, by Chamberlain Quality Shows, will be 4 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
