Deanna Posey is a Clinton native and the owner of Deanna's Java Station in Clinton. Find out more about her in this week’s edition of Meet Your Neighbor.

How do you drink your coffee?

I like plain coffee with just half and half. I also like iced mochas, that's probably my favorite.

Any new additions to the store?

The truck is a new addition. It has been out just a month and we do private events. We kind of always add stuff. There are a couple drinks coming out that I can't really say yet. Maybe some more breakfast items.

How long has the Deanna's Java truck been out?

Just a month doing private events or Sabula Days. We have some places in Davenport, some companies that have hired us to come down for two hours. We're always at Sabula marina, that seems to be really popular. We do weddings, graduations, just anything.

What is your favorite item on your menu?

We have a new tea line that just came out this summer and I'm addicted to the ginger lemon, that's a really good tea. They're all natural teas so that's great about them.

What are you doing when your not running a coffee shop?

Usually just hanging out with my kids or my grandkids or doing paperwork and coming up with new ideas. I really do work 24/7 because my mind is always thinking about something different we can do or something new. It's all fun, it's never anything stressful.
