THINGS TO DO: Mercy to host fundraiser

CLINTON — The Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary will host a LuLaRoe fundraiser. The sale will be held at Mercy Medical Center-Clinton, 1410 N. Fourth St., in Conference Room A from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 23 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 24.

The fundraiser will feature comfortable women's and children's clothing. All proceeds are donated back to the Mercy Auxiliary in support of the advancement of health care. For more information, contact Roberta Dostal at (563) 219-8681.

Historical Society rummage sale is Saturday

CLINTON — The Clinton County Historical Society will hold a rummage sale this Saturday at the St. Irenaeus Cultural Center, 2811 N. Second St., Clinton.

The event will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Most prices run from 25 cents to $1. The proceeds will be used for the preservation of the Clinton County Historical Society Museum and St. Irenaeus. Enter from the lower level in the rear of the building.

April Bridge-a-rama winners

CLINTON — April winners for Bridge-a-rama are Section 1: Kasu Rickertsen and Mary Duhr, 3,710; Section 2: Phil Barger and Carol Machael, 6,270; and Section 3: Tom and Sandy Tegeler, 6,540. Final scores for the season are Section 1: Kasu Rickertsen and Mary Duhr, 22,960; Section 2: Geneene Pals and Carol Hill, 22,650; and Section 3: Jim Carey and Peg Wolf, 23,800.

Clinton Landlords meet May 24

CLINTON — The Clinton Landlords will meet May 24 at the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. A light lunch will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Jeff Chapman and Richard Foley will speak on rental inspection and code enforcement.

CLINTON – The Clinton Boat Club Bridge players met recently at the Corner Deli with 40 people present.
