CLINTON—The Clinton Police Department is continuing an investigation into a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a report of a robbery at Sterling Federal Bank, which is located at 247 Seventh Avenue South, at approximately 9:26 a.m. on September 12.

The suspect, described as a clean shaven white male approximately 25-30 years old, entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect later fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, black pants and black shoes.
