CLINTON — Adam P. Pollard, 27, of Clinton, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home in Clinton.
Family will greet family and friends on Sunday, May 5, 2013, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. A short prayer will conclude the visitation. Adam Patrick Pollard was born on October 28, 1985, in Clinton, the son of Patrick and Lisa (Blanchard) Pollard. He was a 2004 graduate of Clinton High School.
Adam was currently employed with Local 309 Laborers of Rock Island. Prior to the union, he was employed with Clinton Engineering from 2004-2011.
Adam adored his 1-year-old daughter, Halle. He loved spending time on the river with his family and friends. Hewas a hard worker. He enjoyed spending time with his faithful companion Lula. He also enjoyed tending to his many aquariums and snapping turtle.
Adam is survived by his daughter, Halle Pollard; his parents, Pat and Lisa Pollard of Fulton; his brother, Andrew (Molly) Pollard of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his special friend: Alisha Greene and her daughter: Hannah of Clinton; his nephew: Aiden; his paternal grandmother: Jacqueline Pollard of Clinton; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Pollard; and his maternal grandparents, Velda and Clair Pickens.
Memorials can be made to an educational fund being established for his daughter.
