FULTON, Ill. — Arthur L. Weber, 89, of Fulton, died Monday, February 24, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church, 439 3rd Avenue South, Clinton, IA, with Pastor Jennifer Henry, Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton, IA, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton, IA.

The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Fulton, IL, is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton, IA.

Arthur was born on October 9, 1924 in Fulton, IL to George and Hazel (Plumley) Weber.

Art attended Fulton Grade Schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1943.

He served in the United States Army during WWII in Okinawa from 1944-1946.

Art was employed by General Electric Appliance Control Department in Morrison, IL for over 30 years.

He was a member of the American Legion Fulton Post #402, and the Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, IA.

He enjoyed fishing all year long, and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.

Survivors include Gayle Topping, Terry MacLennan, Jere Chapin, Gilbert Chapin, Louise Duplissis, Guy Plumley, Lucille Chapin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
