---- — CLINTON — Karen J. Clark age 69 of Clinton, died Friday Dec. 13, 2013 at her home with her loved ones present. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Karen was born on May 30, 1944 in Clinton, the daughter of Carl and M. Bernadette (Hartman) Schnoor. She graduated from Camanche High School in 1962. She married David Clark on March 1, 1964 in Camanche. Karen worked at Bluff Terrace Nursing Home as a certified nurse assistant for many years. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, camping, fishing, painting, puzzles, playing Yahtze, and country music.
Karen is survived by her husband, David Clark of Clinton; seven children, Marty (Kim) Clark, David (Lisa) Clark, Jr., Todd (Tabetha) Clark, Jason (Terri) Clark and Matthew Clark all of Clinton, Kimberly (Mark) Graham and Joy (Jeff) Drury both of Camanche; 10 grandchildren, Travis, Justin, Brandon, Darien, Taylor, Tyler, Dylan, Kutter, Emily, and Logan; three sisters, Karol Mitchell of Mt. Olivet, KY, Linda (Ed) Sechrest and Susan (Gary) Petersen both of Clinton; and a brother, Richard (Dorothy) Schnoor of Camanche. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and a sister.
