AUDUBON — James Thomas Sievers, 51, of Audubon and formerly of Clinton, died Monday in rural Audubon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.
James is survived by his wife Lynette (Mommsen) Sievers, of Audubon; his daughter Kelsey Sievers, of Washington; his son Brad Sievers, of Fort Collins, Colo.; close family friends Boniface Mkini, of Kisarawe, Tanzania and Rhett Peek of Riverside; his brothers John (Connie) Sievers, of Clinton; David (Rosemary) Sievers, of Miles; and Paul Sievers, of Clinon; and his sisters Janie (John) Moody, of Corvalis, Ore.; and Susan (Terry) Farrow, of Pendleton, Ore.
James was preceded in death by his mother Norma Edna (Christensen) Sievers and father Lowell Edward Sievers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Boniface Mkini College Fund or ChildVoice International.
