FULTON, Ill. — Dale E. Piercy, 54, of Fulton, died Saturday October 19, 2013.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A private memorial service will be held Wednesday – October 23, 2013 at the Fulton Chapel - Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Wiersema – Gateway Faith Fellowship – Fulton, IL., officiating.
Memorial have been established.
Dale was born on December 10, 1958 in Taylorville, IL to John W. and Shirley J. (Babbs) Piercy.
Dale was educated in the Fulton Grade Schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School – Fulton, IL. He received a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton Technical School – Davenport, IA.
Dale was employed for the past 20 years as an electrician for various local companies. Most recently he was employed as a machine operator for Metal-Tech Manufacturing in Clinton, IA.
Dale enjoyed golfing, participating in fantasy sports leagues and was a NASCAR fan and dog lover. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling.
He is survived by one son, Aaron Piercy – Marana, AZ; his mother Shirley Piercy – Fulton, IL; three sisters Debra (Doug) Pell – Fulton, IL, Barb (Bob) Coffey – Fulton, IL and Tami (Jeff) Zachman – Fulton, IL; five brothers Steve (Angie) Piercy – Morrison, IL, Dan (Diane) Piercy – Thomson, IL, Randy Piercy – Fulton, IL, Greg (Jen) Piercy – Chandler, AZ and Chad (Monica) Piercy – Fulton, IL
He was preceded in death by his father John.
