CLINTON — Norman C. Elliott, 76, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the VA Home, Marshalltown, Iowa.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory.
Norman was born October 8, 1936 in Atlanta, GA, the son of Ralph and Judy (Bollan) Elliott. Norman married Mary Bebensee on May 24, 1963 in Fairfield, CA.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from the U.S. Air Force after more than twenty years of service. After retirement he was employed at a Clinton auto parts store, Clinton Electric Motors, in maintenance at Nielsen’s Clearing House and was a tour bus driver for R.C. Smith.
He was a stock car racing fan and driver and was an avid Bears fan.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of Clinton; children, Bruce (Anna) Elliott of Rome, GA; Vicky Elliott of Lithia Springs, GA; Kim (Steve) Prince of Douglasville, GA; Deb (Bob) Bell of Clinton; Dan Elliott of Clinton; Patricia Erne of Camanche and Barbara (Jeff) Rus of Grand Mound, IA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and mother, Judy Bollan of Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandson Adney Erne and one brother.
