FULTON, Ill. — Kelvin A. Snyder, 74, of Fulton, IL, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center North – Clinton, IA.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Jenson, Associate Pastor of Gateway Faith Fellowship, Fulton, IL, officiating. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 until the time of the service at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton, IA.
Memorials may be directed to the Victory Center in Clinton.
Kelvin was born August 8, 1938, in Garden Plain, IL, to Donavon O. and Heloise (Turner) Snyder. He was educated in the Garden Plain Grade Schools and graduated from Fulton High School in 1956, Fulton, IL.
He married Marcia A. Larkey on October 30, 1964 in Savanna, IL; she survives.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Kelvin worked at Clinton Corn in Clinton, IA for 21 years. He then retired from 3M in Cordova, IL after 20 years employment.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia; one daughter, Trisha (Robert) Sikkema, Zimmerman, MN; two step-sons, Wade Larkey, Fulton, IL, and Wayne Larkey, of Clinton, IA; three grandchildren, Dustin Larkey, Lindsey Larkey, Sydney Larkey; three sisters, Hester (Bob) Riesner, Palmer, AK, Judith (Charles) Wiebers, Mission, TX, and Aliecia (Larry) Workman, Sterling, IL; two brothers, Arlen (Shirley) Snyder, Davenport, IA, and Roger Snyder, Saudi Arabia.
He was preceded in death his parents, one sister, Brenda McBroom; and one brother, Donavan Snyder.
